Sketcher Twinkle Toes light up

These shoes are awesome, I got a two pairs at Rack Room Shoes, buy one get one half off.  I got my 6 year old a size 12 in girls and my 2 year old a size 6.  They light up every time you step and my 2 year old loves these so much, she just stands there and hits them on he floor.  Every where I go people always ask where I got them and that they are so awesome.  They look really cute when I put some leggings and a tutu skirt on my older girl.  Best shoes ever.

Back to school clothes

Bought my 6 year old daughter the cutest coat from Gymboree. She looks so grown up.  It's a red trench coat and cost about $40 but everything is on sale right now, you can buy it now for $23.44.  Fill a bag and get 30% off at Gymboree.

As Seen on TV

So I have really sensitive eyes and rarely wear my contacts but I didn't want to spend the money on prescription sunglasses, so the inexpensive way was buying the As seen on t.v. over the glasses sunglasses. 







    


 Okay so I know they may look hideous but they are so AWESOME!!  They actually help me drive without my eyes watering up all the time or me having to squint or hold my hand up to block the sun.  So for an inexpensive solution just go to Walmart and pick up a pair near the As seen on t.v. section.

Bare Minerals

So I know some people love this product and it does wonders for their face but for me it was a nightmare using Bare Minerals.  Like all products they have good and bad reviews but to let you know what I went through it was BAD! 

Now, I am not saying that everyone will have a horrible reaction to this make-up but it was painful and I am now healing.  I started to use it and it felt amazing, made my skin look amazing, but it made me itch like crazy and when I would take it off it my skin was red and patchy.  I started to get really bad acne, these huge horrible pimples that hurt really bad.  It was painful and embarrassing.  If it worked for you than great but it was not good.  If you have sensitive skin I would not recommend using this product.  I think I am allergic to the ingredients that they use, so make sure you are not allergic to them and if you start itching after the first or second time using it then stop!

So I had to go to my first appointment to fill out paperwork and listen to a women for two hours about how it is to be pregnant.  Sucked but having Tricare (military) you have to attend this class every time you have a kid.  So we got done and were waiting to see a nurse to go over the paperwork.  I was the only women in there with a child already, so it was funny seeing the women watch Skylar.  It was really quiet in the room and Skye proceeded to ask me, Why do babies go into the Vagina and then they come out of the Vagina?  Why don't they just come out of the Belly?  Now all the women in the room are like OH MY GOSH, what are you gonna say to her.  Being me I don't lie to Skylar or call things by fake names, a vagina is not a whoo hoo or vagaga or whatever other weird names people come up with, it's just a vagina.  All the mom's thought I was crazy for not saying a fake name for it, one even said I can't believe she actually said the real word and I don't even say it.  So I explained that babies are made between mommies and daddies and then the baby forms in the mommy.  Then when it is done growing and ready to be in the world, she butts in and says the mommy pushes really hard to get it out, HAHA!!  You should have seen the moms to be faces.  I thought it was so funny but I just feel that if my child can talk to me about things then isn't that AWESOME.  Most kids don't talk to their parents because they are so embarrassed to talk about embarrassing things.  So after all that is over, this dad said wow she is really smart, how old is she?  I said only 6 and he said I hope to be able to be open with my kid like you are.  It made me feel great and I felt like I am not such a horrible parent for not lying to my kid about things.  I mean I don't go into detail but I don't lie to her.  Plus, when she was 3 she wanted an anatomy book and already new about boys and girls body parts.  Parents just try not to be embarrassed about the body, we all one, and it's all the same.  Psychology teaches you that if you are willing to be open and talk to your kids that they will come to you in the future with serious things.  Just always listen to them, kids are not stupid.

Moving

So my family and I are moving to MD from VA, due to husband being in the Navy.  So little less than a 7 hours to move, AWESOME, but wow how expensive boxes can be and moving in general.  I have had lots of help with the moving process and the cheapest route for us.  I have found boxes on craigslist for free and we just have to go pick them up, most people put them at the end of their drive way.  SO DON'T BUY BOXES IF MOVING!  We are doing the moving truck thing ourselves and my SIL (sister-in-law) told me about emovers, two to four guys can come and pack your truck up for you.  They charge $40 for two guys an hour, which is cheap seeing we have everything packed and ready for them to move it.  Plus, I am pregnant so I can't lift anything heavier than 30 pounds.  Just thought I would tell you how we are moving but long distances I would do a moving company instead.  Also I found this really cheap website that does sell boxes if you need to buy them, it's called  FastCheapBoxes.com.  You can buy 2-3 rooms for $76 and they normally run about $150.   http://www.fastcheapboxes.com/
